Judith Herron

ATHENS - Judith Herron, 65, of Nelsonville, formerly of Athens, died Sunday, January 11, 2009 at Doctorchr(39)s Hospital West in Columbus. Born November 13, 1943 in Athens, she was the daughter of Irene Burton Davidson of ATHENS and the late Rupert E. Chesser. Besides her mother, she is survived by three children, Joe (Debbie) Herron of Big Stone Gap, Virginia, Lonnie Herron of Conley, Georgia, Teresa Herron of Nelsonville; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; daughters of the heart, Beth Riley of Athens, Nancy Hake of The Plains; a special friend, Rosalee Keller of Nelsonville; a brother, Henry (Cindy) Chesser of Euclid; a sister, Shirley (Bill) Ice of Jacksonville. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Herron; a son, Robert Herron; a step father, Dave Davidson; Maternal and Paternal grandparents. Memorial services will be Friday at 4:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Bob Polock officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday one hour prior to the service.
