Edward LaFrinere

ATHENS - Edward A. LaFrinere, 58, of San Antonio, Texas, formerly of Athens, died Monday, January 5, 2009 in San Antonio. Born May 24, 1950 in Athens, he was the son of Raymond and Julia Brozak LaFrinere of Athens. He Was A 1968 graduate of ATHENS High School and was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a Life Member of The ATHENS -FW Post 3477. Besides his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Tonya (Rich) Amato of Deltona, Florida; a son, Eric LaFrinere of Deltona, Florida; two sisters, Cindy (Mark) Weidner of Athens, Renee (Danny) Evener of Deltona, Florida; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by a brother, Steve LaFrinere; and a nephew, Joshua Evener. Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are by Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home.
