June Hunter

The Plains - Elda June Hunter, 79, of The Plains, died Friday morning, December 26, 2008 at Lindley Inn. Born November 25, 1929 in New Marshfield, she was the daughter of the late Seth and Mae McLead Hunter. She retired from Ohio University Athletic Department where she was employed for 38 years and was a life long member of Christ Community Wesleyan Church. She is survived by a sister, Ermyl F. Ballinger of Lindley Inn and several nieces and nephews. Services will be Monday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. Denver Dodrill officiating. Burial will be in New Marshfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday two hours prior to the service.
