THE PLAINS - Peggi Seiber, 47, of The Plains, passed away Monday, December 15, 2008 at her home. Born May 17, 1961 in Athens, she was the daughter of Marguerite and Paul Kostival of New Marshfield and her natural father James David Seiber of Missouri. Peggi graduated from ATHENS High School in 1979 where she was a proud member of the marching Green and Gold. She attended both Ohio University and Hocking College earning her certification as a Medical Assistant. She worked many years in the Rainbow Babies and Childrenchr(39)s Hospital in Cleveland before returning home in 1998. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Jill (Mike) Bean of Albany; two brothers, Kristofer (Shauna) Kostival of Athens, Paul Robert (Amy) Kostival of Anchorage, Alaska. She was blessed with seven nieces and nephews whom she adored: Drew White of Columbus, Alyson and Tyler White of Albany, Andy and Aiden Kostival of Athens, Kaitlyn and Connor Kostival of Anchorage, Alaska. Further, she enjoyed the love and support of aunts Regina (Jim Waldorf) Kranyik, Lorena Garey, Agnes Russell, Jennifer (Steve) Mender, Deborah Engledue, Dave and Candy Kostival, Many cousins; and one grandmother, Beulah Seiber of Albany. Peggi was preceded in death by her baby sister, Beth; her beloved grandmother, Alice Keirns; grandparents, Andy and Martha Kostival, Webster Keirns and James H. Seiber; two uncles, John and Robert Keirns; an aunt, Geneva Layne and her step-mother, Cheryl Seiber. Memorial Mass will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at Christ The King Catholic Church with Father Martin Holler officiating. Friends may call at the church Saturday one hour prior to the service.
