ATHENS - Jared Michael Casteel, 24, of Athens, died Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at Ochr(39)Bleness Memorial Hospital from injuries received in an auto accident. Born August 24, 1983 in Athens, he was the son of Arthur H. and Julie M. Madden Casteel of Athens. He was a 2002 graduate of Alexander High School and was employed with Ron White Builders. He was a former 4H member of Trailblazers of ATHENS county and a member of St. Johnchr(39)s Catholic Church. He was an avid Buckeyechr(39)s and Browns fan and was a member of ATHENS -rea Browns Backers. Besides his parents, he is survived by his fiancechr(39), Samantha Clay; two daughters, Haylie and Ruby Casteel both of the home; a brother and best friend, Adam (Brooke) Casteel of Albany; a sister, Heidi Casteel of Millfield; a brother, David Graf of Vermilion, two nephews, Mikel and Kainin Casteel of Millfield; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grand parents, Arthur H. and Ruby Casteel; Maternal grandparents, George A. and Jean M. Madden. Services will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Grahams Chapel. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday 5 to 8 PM.
