Joan Perkins

ATHENS - Joan S. Perkins, 89, of Canton, formerly of Athens, died Thursday evening, Aug.14, 2008 in Canton. Born Jan. 6, 1919 in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Maude Shafer Stanley. She is survived by a daughter, Pamela Hess of Canton. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur C. Perkins. Private graveside services will be at the conveince of the family at Alexander Cemetery.
