<div class="Section1"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial"> ATHENS - Marilyn S. Weisenbach, 68, of ATHENS died Saturday evening, July 26, 2008 at her home with her family by her side. Born August 21, 1939 in Charleston, WV, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth W. and Laura A. Gift Lands. She was a 1957 graduate of ATHENS High School and received her license to practice as a Registered Nurse from Bethesda School of Nursing in Cincinnati. She was formerly employed for Dr. Hoskin and Abex Corporation as a Plant Nurse. Upon closing of the plant, she went to Ohio University were she worked as an Occupational Health Nurse, and retired with over 20 years of service. She was a member of St. Paulchr(39)s Catholic Church, St. Paulchr(39)s Catholic Womens Club, the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and various nursing organizations. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, George L. Weisenbach; a dauther, Anita L. Weisenbach of Albany; a son, David L. (Rebecca) Weisenbach of Athens, GA; three grandsons, Khristopher L. Weisenbach of Millfield, William D. and Alex W. Weisenbach of Athens, GA; a half-brother, John Lands of CA; a half-sister, Betty Lou Litton of VA; and a former daughter-in-law, Luanne Weisenbach of Millfield. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10 AM at St. Paulchr(39)s Catholic Church with Mnsr. Patrick Gaughn officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM. Vigil for the deceased will be at 7:30 PM Wednesday.
