ATHENS - Irene M. "Teeny& Bise, 88, of Lancaster, formerly of Athens, died Wednesday morning, June 4, 2008 at Fairfield Medical Center. She lived most of her life in the Amesville and ATHENS -rea. Born August 17, 1919 in Akron, she was the daughter of the late Roland E. and Lola M. Swinehart McPherson. On October 7, 1941 she married Wilmer Bise who preceded her in death in 1987. She loved researching family history and genealogy, reading and studying her bible, crossword puzzles, Crocheting, sports and playing the piano. She is survived by four sons, Gary (Dorothy) Bise of Lexington, John (Susan) Bise of Chauncey, Donald (Joyce) Bise of Canal Winchester, Daniel Bise of Circleville; six grandchildren, Alan Bise, Susan (Rich) Conley, John Bise, Jr., Jason Bise, Codi Bise, Tiffany Bise; one great granddaughter, Adia Conley; two sisters, Irma Jean (Warren) Vore of Oregon, Patricia Chappell of Tipp City. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Junior, Paul, Curtis, Don, Ben, Bob McPherson; two sisters, Catherine King and Marge Webb. Services will be Sunday at 2:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Pastor William Hixson officiating. Burial will be in Alexander Cemetery.
