Freda Bowers

STEWART - Freda J. Bowers, 81, of Stewart, died Wednesday morning, April 16, 2008 at her home. Born April 5, 1927 in ATHENS county, she was the daughter of the late Orville and Elsie Dunfee Patton. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed. She is survived by a son, Roger (Donna) Bowers of Stewart; a daughter, Joyce Bowers of the home; three grandsons, Chris Bowers, Eric (Amber) Bowers, Jason (Joleen) Bowers; three great grandchildren, Collin, Elijah and Quentin Bowers; a sister, Helen Hawk of Stewart; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Bowers, Nov. 15, 1998. Services will be Sunday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Buck officiating.
