GLOUSTER - Daniel Ochr(39)Neil Carsey, 56, of Glouster, died Thursday, January 24, 2008 at his home. Born Feb. 15, 1951 in Athens, he was the son of Harriett Griffith Carsey of Glouster and the late Walter Carsey. He attended Rome Canaan Elementary School and Alexander High School. He was a US Navy Veteran. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife of 39 years, Dorothy; a son, Bryan Carsey of Carbon Hill; a daughter, Joy Carsey of Glouster; five grandchildren; two sisters, Darla (Eugene) Facemyer of Meigs County, Linda Kittle of El Paso, Texas; mother-in-law, Ruth Harris of The Plains and special friend, his dog Jake. Services will be Monday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Elswick officiating. Burial will be in South Canaan Cemetery where military services will be conducted by ATHENS -merican Legion, ATHENS -FW and Albany VFW. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday 4 to 7 PM.
