Brooks, 50, of Athens, died late Friday evening, Jan. 11, 2008 at Rocksprings Nursing Home. <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><font face="Times New Roman" size="3">Born Sept. 26, 1957 in Athens, he was the son of Donna West Brooks of ATHENS and the late Kenneth D. Brooks.</font> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><font face="Times New Roman" size="3">Besides his mother, he is survived by a sister, Jodi (Marty) Bailey of Guysville and a nephew, Josh Stanley of <st1:place w:st="on">Athens</st1:place>.</font> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><font face="Times New Roman" size="3">Besides his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Steve Brooks.</font> <span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA">There will be no services observed.
