Esta Cooper

STEWART - Esta Cooper, 86, of Stewart, died Sunday morning, December 30, 2007 at Ochr(39)Bleness Memorial Hospital. Born May 6, 1921 in Braxton, WV, she was the daughter of the late James Ward and Susie Ellen Fulks Jarvis. Esta was very active in the Democratic Party and the ATHENS county Senior Citizens. She is survived by a daughter, Christina (Wayne) Bartlett of Amesville; a son, James (Mary) Cooper of Athens; four grandchildren, Sue Jago, Anita Bartlett, Jimmy Cooper, Amy Cooper; five great grandchildren; a sister, Carole (Leonard) Cassudakis of Wellsboro, PA; three brothers, Harlan (Vicki) Jarvis of Stewart, Glenn (Wanda) Jarvis of Stewart, Everett (Mary Lou) Jarvis Guysville; many nieces and nephews and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert and two infant sons. Services will be Thursday at 1:00 pm at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Jarvis officiating. Burial will be in Stewart Cemetery. Friends may call at thee funeral home Wednesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm.
