Laura Fritz

ATHENS - Laura V. Fritz, 81, of Athens, went home with Christ on Dec. 3, 2007. Born Sept. 29, 1926 in Glitzen, PA, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Mary Perry. Laura was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. She will be sadly missed by her family, her many friends from Brookside Manor, and friends in the ATHENS -rea. She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Janelle and Greg Baney of The Plains; her loving son and daughter-in-law, Ernie and Kathy Fritz of Elyria; her grandchildren, Greg (Tiffany) Baney of Gahanna, Lori (Scott) Carpenter of Millfield, Louis Fritz of Soldotna, AL, Katie Fritz of Elyria; great grandchildren, Parker and Alexis Baney, Luke, Sam and Amanda Carpenter; brother and sister-in-law, Ernest and Rita Perry of Brunswick; sisters, Frances Odda of Clearwater, FL, Amanda Zipp of Chardon, Bonnie McDonald of Brunswick; sister and brother-in-law, Darla and Phillip Johnson of Mentor; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 46 years, Louis R. Fritz; brothers, Joseph and Sylvester Perry; sisters, Florence Barr and Gloria Adams. A private family memorial service will be held in Mentor. Arrangements are by Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home.
