Chiki, 56, of ATHENS died Saturday, October 27, 2007 at Ochr(39)Bleness Memorial Hospital.<o:p></o:p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-justify: inter-word; text-align: justify; mso-pagination: none"><span style="font-size: 12pt; language: EN; mso-ansi-language: EN">Born January 4, 1951 in Athens, he was the son of Arthur L. and JoAnn Williamson Chiki of Athens.<o:p></o:p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-justify: inter-word; text-align: justify; mso-pagination: none"><span style="font-size: 12pt; language: EN; mso-ansi-language: EN">He was a 1969 graduate of ATHENS High School and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a former employee of the ATHENS county Court House and D & R Landscaping, and a member of<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> ATHENS -MVETS Post 76.<o:p></o:p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-justify: inter-word; text-align: justify; mso-pagination: none"><span style="font-size: 12pt; language: EN; mso-ansi-language: EN">Besides his parents, he is survived by four brothers, Thomas (Rhonda) Chiki of Athens, Randy (Sue) Chiki of The Plains, Steven (Linda) Chiki of Athens, and Jeffrey (Nancy) Chiki of Athens; his first cousin and close friend, Karen Boehmer of Columbus; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.<o:p></o:p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-justify: inter-word; text-align: justify; mso-pagination: none"><span style="font-size: 12pt; language: EN; mso-ansi-language: EN">Services will be Wednesday at 1 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Gary Alton officiating. Burial will be at ATHENS -emory Gardens where military services will be conducted by the ATHENS -FW, Post 3477, Albany VFW, Post 9893, and the ATHENS -merican Legion, Post 21.<o:p></o:p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-justify: inter-word; text-align: justify; mso-pagination: none"><span style="font-size: 12pt; language: EN; mso-ansi-language: EN">Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM.
