Clara Pierce

ATHENS - Clara M. Pierce, 84, of Athens, died Sunday morning, Oct. 14, 2007 at Four Winds Community in Jackson. Born Dec. 12, 1922 in Racine, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Mary McElroy Circle. She retired from McBeechr(39)s after 43 years of service. She was a member of White Swan # 5, ATHENS -merican Legion Auxiliary and the Green and White Club. She is survived by a brother, George Circle of Pomeroy; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Circle of New Haven, West Virginia; a brother-in-law, Charles Perry of Hillsdale, Michigan; a sister-in-law, Patricia Circle of Overland, Kansas; several nieces and nephews including Gerald "Butch& and Diana Daft of Albany with whom she had formerly resided with. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; four brothers, Wesley, Jim, Harry, and Melvin Circle and a sister, Helen Perry. Services will be Thursday at 11:00 AM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Stewart officiating. Burial will be in ATHENS -emory Gardens.
