Emily Gail Sheridan THE PLAINS - Emily Gail Sheridan, 66, of The Plains died Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at Kimes Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born September 29, 1940 in Nelsonville, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Esther Losey Steward. She retired from Ohio University and was an active and dedicated member of The Plains United Methodist Church. She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend, and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her daughters, Wendy Sheridan, and Ashley Dunn; one grandson, Dimetri; two sisters, Sue and Mary Kay; special niece, Dorothy DeWeese of The Plains, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Terry. Graveside Services will be held Friday at 1 PM at Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Timothy Waugh officiating. There will be a luncheon immediately following at The Plains United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Kimes Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 75 Kimes Lane, Athens, Ohio 45701.
