ATHENS - Clifford E. "Cliff& Craft, 53 of ATHENS -ent to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 27, 2007 at his residence. Born February 15, 1954 in Canton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Clyde Edward and Mignon Elma Work Craft. He was a graduate of Ohio University in Geography and was a volunteer for the Salvation Army, where he was the Bell Ringer at Christmas. He was an avid reader and book collector and wrote many editorials for several newspapers. He was very interested in Agriculture, antiquing, garage sales and auctions. He attended the Chauncey Church of God. He is survived by three siblings, John Craft of Pheonix, AZ, Kathleen Craft of Canton, and Christopher (Marcia) Craft of Dalton; three nieces and one nephew; and great good friends, Gerard P. Dunn, Stephen A. Kasler, Gordon Johnson and Gary Alton. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his 19 year companion and special friend, Pauline Barnhart. Services will be Friday at 1 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Charles Pritchard and Gary Alton officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Salvation Army in his name.
