Dennis Davis

THE PLAINS - Dennis L. Davis, 62, of The Plains, died Friday afternoon, May 25, 2007 at his home. Born June 3, 1944 in The Plains, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary Elaine Tinkham Davis. He was a graduate of The Plains High School, an avid hunter and he and his wife owned and operated The Spice of Life coffee shop in The Plains. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Judy; three children, Michelle (Lynn) Swanger of Athens, Melissa (Jimmy Ziolkowski) Davis of Fort Myers, FL, Michael (Deanna) Davis of Fort Myers, FL; seven grandchildren, Renee, Danielle, Austin, Kyle, Chase, Colby, Cierra; a sister, Carole (Bill) Shaver of FL; a brother, Robert (Diana) Davis of Columbus. Services will be Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Gary Alton officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm.
