Dale Sapp

ATHENS- Dale H. Sapp, 89 of ATHENS died Thursday, April 19, 2007 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. Born November 15, 1917 in Pratts Fork, he was the son of the late Pearl and Nellie Meighn Sapp. He was a graduate of Shade High School. He was a former owner and operator of Fairview Drive Inn with his late brother Fred. He was a member of the former ATHENS -hurch of Nazarene and attended Bates United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge in Columbus. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Janice; one son, Larry (Millie) Sapp of Athens; one sister-in-law, Laura Sapp Sayre of the Plains; two nieces, Margaret Louise Eggleston and Grace Rodehaver. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Fred; and one sister, Frances Coe. Services will be Monday at 1 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Morrison and Rev. David Barringer officiating. Burial will be at Bates Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 5 PM.
