Bill Kasler

ATHENS - Bill G. Kasler, 85, of Athens, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday morning, April 18, 2007 at Ochr(39)Bleness Memorial Hospital. Born Feb. 2, 1922&nbsp;on Hooper Ridge, he was the son of the late Harmond and Eva Woolley Kasler. He was retired from McBeechr(39)s with 37 years of service and was a US Army veteran of WWII. He is survived by a son, Stephen Kasler of Athens. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Inez in 2004; two sons, Larry and Keith Kasler; five brothers and sisters, Helen Wolfe, Eldon Kasler, Carol Kasler, Eleanor Hines, and Wilbur Kasler. Sevices will be Saturday at 11:00 am at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Gary Alton officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday 5 to 7 pm.
