Lizzie Rutter

MILLFIELD - Lizzie Rutter, 92, of Millfield, died early Saturday morning, Feb. 10, 2007 at Huston Nursing Home in Hamden. Born March 4, 1914 in ATHENS county, she was the daughter of the late Isaac and Gertie Phillips McCune. She is survived by two sons, Jimmy (Verna) Rutter of Glouster, Eldon "Sam& Rutter of Millfield; two grandchildren, Marilyn (Phil) Brinkley of Albany, Jimmy (Marla) Rutter of Chauncey; five great granddaughters; and one great great grandson. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Rutter who died in 1961; six brothers and two sisters. Services will be Monday at 1:00 P.M. at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Pastor Philip Foster officiating. Burial will be in Hilltop Cemetery.
