Joan Ollie

THE PLAINS - Joan Ollie, 79, of The Plains, passed away Monday, February 19, 2007 at Ochr(39)Bleness Memorial Hospital. She was born August 24, 1927 in Dublin, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret Sheridan. She came to The United States in 1954 to marry her husband, David Ollie to whom she had been married for 52 years. She is survived by her husband, David Ollie; four daughters, Margaret Ollie of The Plains, Una Gilfert (Ted) of Athens, Shevaun Conner (Ken) of Purcellville, Virginia, Judy Gill-Totten of Kirtland; five grandchildren, Leslie Gilfert, David Gilfert, Megan Gilfert all of Athens, Sean Conner, Johnathan Conner both of Purcellville, Virginia; three siblings, Ann Primavesi of Newbury, England, Bridgett Morriss of Leigh-on-sea, England, and James Sheridan of Dublin, Ireland. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Clements and Una Sheridan. Mass will be held Thursday at 11:00 am. at Christ The King Catholic Church with Father Marty Holler officiating. Friends may call at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home Wednesday 5 to 8 pm.
