Robert O'Brien

Robert E. OBrien, of Scottsdale Arizona, died Friday, March 9th, 2007 He was born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. He was the son of the late Emmett and Mary OBrien. He is survived by his wife, Marguerite, and daughter, Kim of Scottsdale, Arizona. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his oldest daughter, Cassie, and his sister, Mary Jane Sloman. Bob served in WWII as a bombardier. He attended OU for his undergraduate degree and NYU for his graduate. He married Marguerite in 1946 and they recently celebrated 61 years of marriage. His profession took him to Atlanta, where he began KOB Carpets. Retirement took them to Pompano Beach Florida, until their move to Scottsdale in 2004. He was a member of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Services will be Wednesday, March 14th at 1 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home, Athens. Burial will be in ATHENS -emory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, one hour prior to the service.
