Cody Neal

ATHENS - William Cody Neal, 25, of ATHENS died February 8, 2007 in Norfolk, Virginia where he was stationed in the US Navy. Born January 15, 1982 in Frankfurt, Germany, he was the son of Gordon and Dixie Moore Neal of Guysville. He was a 2000 graduate of Alexander High School where he played soccer. He was a graduate of the Hocking College School of Culinary Arts. He also enjoyed art. Besides his parents he is survived by his wife, Denise of Miami, FL; two sons, Alex Cody and Logan Caleb of Chauncey; one step son, Brendon Austin Williams of Chauncey; a sister, Samantha Neal-Keith (Richard) of Jacksonville; a brother, Nathan Gordon Neal (Stacy Secoy) of Stewart; paternal grandmother, Betty Arnold of Athens; maternal grandmother, Edith Moore of Guysville; several aunts, uncles, cousins; special friends, Angie and Jason Rosler; and many other friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Danny Arnold; maternal grandfather, Dick Moore. Services will be Sunday at 1 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Bill Ochr(39)Brien officiating. Burial will be at Shade Cemetery where military services will be conducted by the US Navy.
