ATHENS -Berneda K. Hodson, 89, of Athens, died early Thursday, December 14, 2006 at Ochr(39)Bleness Memorial Hospital.She was born March 18, 1917 in Adams County, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Pearl and Laura Izora Carter Kerr. She was a member of theVandaliaUnitedMethodist Church and the Eastern Star in Dayton. She is survived by a son Thomas (Jan) Hodson of Athens; a daughter, Suzanna (Basil) Theodoras of Athens; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren; two brothers, Marvin and Karl Kerr both of Wilmington.Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Hodson; three brothers, Everett, Earl and Kenneth Kerr; and one sister, Mary Brewer.Services will be Saturday at 3 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. Mary Jo Yeakel officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home two hours prior to the service.Graveside services will be held Monday at 11 AM at Forest Hills Cemetery, Vandalia with Rev.
