THE PLAINS Elizabeth E. McCoy, 91 of The Plains died Sunday afternoon, November 12, 2006 at Ochr(39)Bleness Memorial Hospital.She was born June 3, 1915 in ATHENS county and was the daughter of the late Charles Owans and Jenny Ethel Whyatt McDaniel.She was a member of the Chauncey Senior Citizens Club, The Plains Garden Club, former member of The Plains Ladies Auxillary Fire Department and was retired from AthensMentalHealth Center.She is survived by four children, Robert (Verna) McCoy of Athens, Gail (Sharon) McCoy of New Marshfield, Maxine (Bill) Kyle of ATHENS and Bud McCoy of The Plains; five grandchildren, Ted and David McCoy, Mike McCoy, Darrell Kyle, and Megan Heller; sixteen great grandchildren; one step granddaughter; and a sister, Ethel May Bird of Hurricane, W. Va.Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband in 1987, Arthur; one sister, Mary Belle Sycks; and three brothers, Andrew, Charles and Lewis McDaniel.Services will be Thursday at 1 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Timothy Waugh officiating.
