THE PLAINS- Harriett Martha Welch, 74 of The Plains died late Saturday evening, November 11, 2006 atRiversideMethodist Hospital in Columbus.She was born June 2, 1932 in Amesville, and was the daughter of the late Arthur A. and Fern French Antle.She retired from AEP March 1, 1999 after 25 years of service and  was a member of The Plains United Methodist Church.She is survived by two sons, Neil (Elsie) Welch of Albany and Larry Welch of Charleston, SC.; four daughters, Linda (Don) Hampshire of Versailles, OH, Gloria (Paul) Keirns of Amesville, Marcia Welch of Athens, Donna (Dean) Crofoot of Albany; seven step children, Virginia R. Welch Cairney, Roger Welch, Gary Welch, Patricia Antle (Bill) Layne of Columbus, Beverlee Antle of The Plains, William (Kathy) Antle of Gahanna, Mary Antle (Sam) Lewis of Athens, James Antle (Karla Witherspoon) of Athens; several grand children and great grandchildren; a sister, Eleanor B. Antle Birtcher of Gahanna; a sister-in-law, Nancy Welch of Topshem, ME.Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Neil M. Welch Sr.; two sons Ralph and Charles Welch; five brothers, Carl, Aldo, Dow, Hermond, and Dean Antle. Services will be Wednesday at 1 PM at The Plains United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Timothy Waugh officiating. Burial will be in Canaanville Cemetery.Friends may call at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home on Tuesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
