Sylvia A. McBride ATHENS - Sylvia A. McBride, 93, of Athens, died Tuesday morning Oct. 3, 2006 at home with her family.Born Feb. 18, 1913 in Vinton County, she was the daughter of the late Fenton E. and Dora A Ervin Boyer.She is survived by three sons, Jack McBride of Reynoldsburg, Garry McBride of Carbondale, Robert McBride of Athens; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl McBride; three brothers, Thomas, Virgil and Francis Boyer.Services will be Saturday at 1:00 P.M. at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Dave Cogar officiating. Burial will be in WestUnionStreet Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until time of service.
