align=left>Rolland Willie ATHENS -George Rolland Willie, 85 of Athens, died Tuesday morning, May 30, 2006 at his home.Born in ATHENS county on Aug. 18, 1920 and was the son of the late George and Elizabeth Davis Willie.He led a very active life. He was a US WWII Army Veteran and served in the South Pacific. He was a member of theWesleyan Church in Nelsonville, the ATHENS -FW and was a former Canaan Township trustee.He is survived by his wife, Louise Thompson Willie, and celebrated their 65th anniversary on Jan. 30; five children, Judy Dishon of Saltfork, Darrell (Dawn) Willie of Guysville, Sharon (Lee) Ritchie of Waverly, Kenneth (Stella) Willie of Trimble, and Carol (Rick) Sanborn of Millfield; ten grandchildren, and ten great grandchildrenBesides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Gary Willie; two brothers, Ralph Willie and Robert Willie; and two sisters, Mary Margaret Foley and Ruth Ann Willie. Services will be Thursday at 1 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Bill Ochr(39)Brien officiating.
