NEW MARSHFIELD - Gerald (Jerry) Curtis Herron, 69, of New Marshfield died unexpectedly Friday morning, May 19, 2006 at his home of natural causes.Born Feb. 3, 1937 in Imboden, VA, and was the son of the late Curtis Herron and Pearl Witt Herron Corley.He was a US Army Veteran and managed Carriage Hill Apartments for 25 years.He is survived by his wife of over 42 years, Judith Chesser Herron; his children, Joseph (Debbie) Herron, Gerald Lonzo Herron, Robert Herron, and Teresa Herron; sisters, Wanda Herron (Bill) Carter, Darlene Herron (Joe) Jarrell, and Kathy Corley (Barry) St. Clair; brothers, Lonzo Herron, Keith (Gloria) Herron, and Carl Corley Jr.; and special friends, Rosalee Keller-Whitington, and Nancy Hake; two sisters-in-law, Sue Herron and Barbara Corley; he was the proud grandfather of Edward (Telsa) Herron, Chad (Amanda) Bishop, Greg (Angie) Bishop, Joe (Kim) Herron, Misty Herron (Heath) Hindman, Curtis Herron, Garrett Smith, Marybeth Wells and eleven great grandchildren.Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Dan Herron and Darrell Corley; and one sister and husband, Joann (Lovell) Stargill.Friends may call at the Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 when a service will begin with Rev.
