Marilyn Kempton

ATHENS -Marilyn Kempton, 58, of Chauncey died Tuesday morning, May 2, 2006 at her home. She was born Dec. 16, 1947 in Athens, and was the daughter of Mildred M. Martin Kirkendall of ATHENS and the late Ralph L. Kirkendall.She was employed at Echoing Meadows for over 15 years. Besides her mother, she is survived by two sons, Tony Kempton and special friend Lynn Thompson of Chauncey, and Patrick Kempton and fianc?? Beth Smith of Chauncey; five brothers and sisters, Stephen Kirkendall of Laurelville, Martha Ghearing of Pecola, OK, John L. Kirkendall of Athens, Grace (David) Gee of Montreal, Quebec, Canada and Kathryn E. (Larry) Pierce of Athens; also several nieces and nephews.Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L.
