THE PLAINS - Robert L. Foughty, Sr., 75, of The Plains, died early Saturday morning, March 11, 2006 at Ochr(39)Bleness Memorial Hospital.Born May 22, 1930 in Chauncey, he was the son of the late Edward and Mae McCune Foughty.He was a US Army Korean Veteran and was a retired coal miner.He is survived by three children, John (sandy) Foughty of Arvada, CO, Kathryn Foughty of The Plains, and Robert Jr. (Sherri) Foughty of Roopville, GA; four grandchildren, Lucas, Samuel, Mallory and Sheralee Foughty; two step grandchildren, Tiffany and Ashley Turpin; one step great grandson, Zachary Greco.Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Wilma, December 1, 1998.Services will be Tuesday at 1 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Martin officiating.
