CHAUNCEY Martha A. McKnabb, 78, of Chauncey, died Friday morning, February 10, 2006 at her home after a brief illness.She was born August 10, 1927 in Broadwell and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah "Sadie" Holdcoft Young.She was a lifetime member of The Ladies Auxiliary of The Plains VFW Post 7174.She is survived by her five loving children, Mae (Paul) Bircher of Millfield, Peggy (Jesse) McKee of New Marshfield, Rick (Kay) McKnabb of Chauncey, Randy McKnabb of Chauncey, Darlene (Jim Jr.) Russell of Chauncey; five grandchildren, Tammy (Brett) Taylor, J.R. (Dawn) McKee, Jonathan (Kristen) McKee, Samantha and Travis Russell; six great grandchildren, Ben Cochran, Bretta and Colt Taylor, Jesse McKee, Jonna and Jonathan McKee; two sisters, Goldie Hoon of Chesterhill, Dorothy (Anthony) Sargente of Amesville.Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil "Ernie" McKnabb; three brothers, Ralph, Joe and John Young; and four sisters, Myrtle Sargente, Bernice White, Ethel Ackley and an infant sister, Lucille Young.Services will be Tuesday at 11 AM at Hughes Moquin Funeral Home with Gary Alton officiating.
