Margaret Lacey

ATHENS - Margaret Gwinn Lacey, 83, formerly of Athens, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2006 in Melbourne, Florida where she lived for 20 years. She was born June 27, 1922 in Barbersville, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late C.F. and Hattie Duncan Gwinn. She worked atATHENS -tate Hospital and at the Columbus State School.She was preceded in death by her husband George Lacey; six brothers and nine sisters. She is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Huffman of Melbourne Florida; five grandchildren, Teresa (Brian) Hawkins of Melbourne, FL, Steven Grubbs Of Melbourne, FL, Diana (Art) Cofelice of Atlanta, GA,  Rhonda (Dennis) Huntington of Melbourne, FL, and Ricky Grubbs of Atlanta, GA; four great grandchildren, Taylor and Kaycee Hungtington and Christopher and Zachary Cofelice; and one sister, Janice (Dale) Sapp of Athens.Services will be on Thursday at 11 AM, at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Pastor David Barringer officiating.
