David Allan Heightland

  ATHENS - David Allan Heightland Sr., 57, of Athens, died Tuesday morning,  Novermber 1, 2005 at his residence.Born August 11, 1948 in Chauncey, and was the son of the late Floyd Delbert and Letha Marie Scott Heightland.  He was a former employee of the ATHENS -ental Health Center with 27 years of services, and retired from S.E.P.T.A. in 2000. He was also an avid hunter.He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Linda (McKibben) Heightland; two sons, David Allan (Toni) Heightland, Jr. of Shade, and Robert Dean Heightland of Athens; one daughter, Rebecca Jean (Jon) Cooper of Athens; two grandsons, Jacob David Heightland of Shade, and Conner Robert Cooper of Athens; two brothers, Bobby Tyrone Heightland of Pomeroy, and Richard Delbert Heightland of Athens; two sisters, Carol Jean Hart of Millfield, and Kathleen Marie (Curt) Rutter of Athens; and his mother and father-in-law, Rolland and Jean McKibben of The Plains. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by Floyd James Heightland.Graveside services will be held at noon on Thursday at Hilltop Cemetery in Millfield with Pastor Ken Kelly officiating.No calling hours will be observed.  Arrangements are by Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home.You may send a message of sympathy to the family at the funeral home website www.hughesmoquinfuneralhome.com.
