Freida Marie Kelly

ATHENS -Freida Marie Kelly, 86, of Keedysville, MD., formerly of the ATHENS -rea, died Monday, October 24, 2005, at her home knowing the Lord and took her place in Heaven.Born October 31, 1918 in Mineral, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Ernest R. and Ines Clara Brooks Ely.She was a homemaker and a member of Samples Manor Church of God near Sharpsburg, MD.She is survived by one daughter, Patricia A. Weaver of Keedysville; one son, Kenneth E. Kelly of Keedysville; one sister, Thelma McAfee of Mansfield, Ohio; two brothers, Ivan Ely of Chillicothe, and Dale Ely of Finleyville, PA; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three step grandchildren, and four step great-grandchildren.Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Patrick Kelly; one sister, Cleota Cyrus and two brothers, Daniel Ely and Clyde Ely.Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Friday at Samples Manor Church of God. The Rev. Kenneth Johnson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM on Thursday at the Bast Funeral Home in Boonsboro, MD.Graveside services will be Saturday at 2 PM at New Marshfield Cemetery with Rev.
