John Nogrady

 ATHENS - John Gregory "Greg" Nogrady, 46 of Columbus, formerly of Athens, beloved son and brother, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, September 28, 2005. He was born at Mt. St. Marychr(39)s Hospital in Nelsonville, Ohio on October 19, 1958, and was the first child of the late John Nogrady and Judith Snyder Nogrady.Greg was a 1977 graduate of ATHENS High School and graduated Summa Cum Laude in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio University in 1981. He pursued graduate work in Nuclear Engineering at Ohio State University.He was employed as a Nuclear Engineer and consultant by AEP and other firms. Most recently he was employed by the Ohio EPA.He is survived by his mother, Judith Snyder Nogrady of Athens; brother Maj. Gary Mitchell (Mitch) (Rhonda) Nogrady of Dayton; sisters, Shari (Eric Hart) Nogrady of Pomeroy, Carol Nogrady of Athens; two nieces, Melissa and Liza Nogrady.He was preceded in death by his father, John Nogrady; and grandparents, Frank H. and Thelma Snyder, and Daniel and Margaret Nogrady.
