ATHENS -Robert E. Carsey, 60, of ATHENS died early Tuesday morning, June 14, 2005 at Ochr(39)Bleness Memorial Hospital. He was born July 6, 1944 in ATHENS county to the late William Leo and Othella Jane McKibben Carsey.He is survived by his long time companion Mary Carsey; six brothers and sisters, Bill (Jean) Carsey of Athens, Floyd (Debbie) Carsey of Athens, Ben (Freda) Carsey of Athens, Donna (Dennis) Facemyer of Albany, John (Phyllis) Carsey of The Plains, and Dianna Carsey of Guysville; special family members, Jeff and Lila Carsey and their children, Jennifer, Lori, Cindy and Mike; and many nieces and nephews.Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel and Charles Carsey. Services will be Thursday at 1 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Pastor Carl Radcliff officiating. Burial will be at South Canaan Cemetery.Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday two hours prior to the service.
