ATHENS -Joy R. McGee, 61, of ATHENS died early Tuesday morning, April 19, 2005 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster.Born on January 29, 1944 in Millfield, and was the daughter of the late Raymond and Luella Morgan Moody.She is survived by her husband, Jackie G. McGee; five daughters, Joyce Barr of Athens, Jonetta Carson of Athens, Vickie Taylor of West Lebanon, NH, Jackie K. McGee of Wilton, NH, Janet (Jimmie) Davis of Millfield; one son, Daniel R. McGee of Marysville; 17 grandchildren; one great grandson; three sisters, Penny (John) Seaman of Athens, Bonnie (Milton) Cooksey of Athens, Nancy (Joseph) Keirns of Millfield; many aunts, nieces and nephews; special friends, Diane, Earl and Cody Lee.Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Richard Taylor.Services will be Friday at 1 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home, Athens. Burial will be in Hilltop Cemetery.Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
