Clinton Leonard Hamlin

ATHENS county - Clinton Leonard Hamlin, 21 of Albany and Stewart, died Monday evening, January 10, 2005 at Ochr(39)Bleness Memorial Hospital from injuries received in an auto accident. He was born August 22, 1983 in Athens, and was the son of Zachary and Leah Hamlin of Albany and Beverly and Rex Dixon of Stewart. He was a graduate of Federal Hocking High School and Tri County. He was attending Hocking College. He was active in many sports. Besides his parents he is survived by a sister, Lindsey (Eric) Barnhouse of Coolville; three step brothers, Chris (Andrea) Dixon of Albany, Brian (Hana) Dixon, stationed in Japan, and Matt Finley of Albany; one niece, Carlee Barnhouse; three nephews, Zachary Barnhouse, and Cade and Chase Dixon; grandparents, Clinton and Wilhelmine Hamlin of The Plains, and Edward and Stephanie Jarvis of Jackson; special friend, Brittany Barnett; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph Sr. and Helen Six; and an uncle Roger L. Six.Services will be Saturday at 1 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home, Athens, with Gary Alton officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.Friends may call at the funeral home, Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Following services a gathering will be held at Red Bird Ranch Party Barn in Guysville.
