Anna Ashton

ATHENS - Anna Margaret (Shorty) Ashton, age 83, originally of 6 Ransom Road died December 24, 2004 at ManorCare Nursing Center, Westerville.  Born in Athens, she was the daughter of the late John and Edith Tippie Ashton. She was retired from Loganchr(39)s Book Store after many dedicated years as an employee. She is survived by one sister and brother-in-law Virginia and Tom Chesser of Columbus, sister in-law Liz Ashton of Houston, Texas and nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Eula and brothers Tom and Bill and sister in-law Ellen. There will be no calling hours or funeral.  Grave side services will be at a later date.  Arrangements are by Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home.You may send a message of sympathy to the family at the funeral home website at www.hughesmoquinfuneralhome.com.
