Kerry W. DeWeese

ATHENS - Kerry W. DeWeese, 53, of The Plains, died Wednesday, April 28, 2004 at Ochr(39)Bleness Memorial Hospital. Born March 4, 1951 in Athens, he was the son of Murven  and Rosalee Metcalf DeWeese of The Plains.He was a 1970 graduate of Athens High School and employed with Ohio University for over 20 years. He was a member of the ATHENS -asonic Paramuthia Lodge 25 F and AM and was an avid hunter and bass fisherman, and also an avid Bengalchr(39)s and Redchr(39)s fan. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Dorothy; two sons, Steven DeWeese of Virginia and Joshua DeWeese of Columbus; two sisters, Cathy DeWeese-Wakeland of The Plains and Susan Tudor of Athens; a special niece, Scarlett Tudor of Athens.Services will be Saturday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home, Athens, with Rev. H. Willard Love officiating. Burial will be at Zion Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 4 to 8 PM
