Magel Norajean Mayles

MILLFIELD - Magel Norajean "Jean" Mayles, 73, of Millfield died Thursday, June 17, 2004 at Doctorchr(39)s Hospital of Nelsonville. She was born November 7, 1930 in Fairview, WV and was the daughter of the late Hazel Freeman and Ethel Mae Cook Varner. She was retired from Ohio University.She is survived by her husband Delbert; four sons, Deward Mayles of Knoxville,TN, Patrick (Patricia) Mayles of Millfield, David (Debra Standley) Mayles of Glouster, and Timothy (Diana) Mayles of Millfield; two daughters, Peggy (Ed) Price of Millfield and Penny Ford of Millfield; 17 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; two brothers, Jacob (Louise) Varner of Millfield and Jordie (Martha) Varner of Duncan Falls; two sisters, Almeda Barber of ATHENS and Ruby (Haven) Van Fossen of Lecato, FL. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a son, John Michael Mayles, one grandson Brian Mayles, one infant great granddaughter and two brothers, Bernard and William Varner.Services will be Sunday at 1 PM at Hughes Moquin Funeral Home, ATHENS -ith Dave Cogar officiating. Burial will be at Hilltop Cemetery.Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.
