Edna McBride

class=MsoNormal>ATHENS - Edna McBride, 71, of Athens, died Saturday morning at her home. Born September 7, 1932 in Chauncey and was the daughter of the late Carl and Edith Sams Brown. She was a member of the South ATHENS -ingdom Hall of Jehovah?s Witnesses. She is survived by her son, David McBride of Athens; two grandchildren, Sean McBride of The Plains and Rose McBride of The Plains; a brother, Earl Brown of Athens; and a sister, Dorothy (Dale) Channell of The Plains.Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George (Nicky) McBride. Services will be Tuesday at 1 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home, Athens, with James Frye officiating. Burial will be in ATHENS -emory Gardens.Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.
