Charles Cline Moore

SAN FRANCISCO - Charles "Charley" Cline Moore - Born in Troy, N.Y., February 9, 1933, and passed away peacefully at the V.A. Medical Center, San Francisco, C.A. on May 7, 2004 after a long illness. He was a longtime attorney in S.F. Charley did his undergraduate studies at Ohio University, Athens, Ohio, where he was a member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. He served in the U.S. Army, Fort Benning, GA prior to attending the University of Michigan Law School. Upon graduation he moved to San Francisco where he began his law practice. Charley was a devoted and longtime member of The Family Club, where his greatest joy was producing many musicals and shows for his fellow members. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C.O. Moore of ATHENS and Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Cline of Albany. He is survived by his sister, Maryann Moore Merritt; niece, Virginia Emily Merritt; and a nephew, Jay Merritt.Graveside services will be Sunday at 1:30 P.M. at Alexander Cemetey, Hebbardsville.  No calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are by Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home, Athens.
