Louella W. Rousey

ATHENS - Louella W. Rousey, 95, of Athens, died Friday evening, January 9, 2004, at Hickory Creek Nursing Center, The Plains. Born August 26, 1908 in Lodi Township, she was the daughter of the late John Wandling and Mary Christman Wandling.  She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Barbara Rutter of Virginia Beach; a sister-in-law, Mary Wandling of Albany; and a special friend, Nancy Young of Nelsonville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Rousey; a son, Virgil W. Rutter; several sisters; and a brother. Graveside services will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Athens, with Father Patrick Gaughan officiating.  Arrangements are being handled by Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home, Athens.
