Nellie C. Sewell

ATHENS  Nellie C. Sewell, 85, of ATHENS died Saturday, April 24, 2004 at Hickory Creek Nursing Center. She was born on October 16, 1918 in The Plains. She was the daughter of the late Ira and Hattie Robinette Barnes. She was a homemaker and a member of the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints. She is survived by a son, Grant Richard (Catherine) Sewell of Lancaster; a daughter, Russlyn ?Rusty? (James) Stalder of Athens; four grandchildren, Reena (Paul) Flowers, Kelly (Jeff) Wharton, Rachel (Matt) Frazee and David  Stalder and his special friend Lana Lovsey; five great grandchildren; and a sister Iva Posick of Cincinnati.Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Russell Sewell, 1974; two brothers, Phillip and William Barnes; five sisters, Lillian Barnes, Opal Leibhart, Myrtle Ball, Alberta Gabriel and Helen Lee. Services will be Tuesday at 1 PM at Hughes Moquin Funeral Home, Athens, with Elder David Mingus officiating. Burial will be at Alexander Cemetery.Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5 to 8 PM
