Linda M. Smith

GLOUSTER - Linda M. Smith, 52, of Glouster died Monday June 21, 2004 at         Riverside Hospital in Columbus. Born August 22, 1951 in Mariah, NY, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Flora Brassard Monette. She was employed at Ohio Public Employees Retirement Systems. She is survived by her husband, Herman; four children, Tara (Ron) Riley of Glouster, Tom Smith of Columbus, Ron Smith of Mansfield, and Steve (Missy) Smith of Columbus; five grandchildren, Hunter Riley, Jennifer and Jacob Smith, and Zachary and Molly Smith; a sister, Betty (Edward) Benner of Columbus, Ohio; three brothers, Norman (Shirley) Monette of Mariah, NY., Maynard Monette of Canadaiqua, NY., and Morris (Marcia) Monette of Cape Cod, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews.Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Theresa Monette and Yvonne Clarke; and a granddaughter, Morgan Riley.Services will be Friday at 11 AM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home, Athens, with Pastor Ronald Smith officiating. Burial will be in Hilltop Cemetery.Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.
