Doris Tom

ATHENS   Doris Tom, of Athens, died Tuesday, June 1, 2004 Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus. She was born in Meigs County, and was the daughter of the late Perry and Carrie Woody Smith. She was a member of the ATHENS -hurch of Christ and one of the founding members of the C.C.L.She is survived by two daughters, Roma (Jack) Beverage of Delaware, Ohio and Jan (Jim) Bernosky of Athens; four grandchildren, Tammie Goedde, Debbie Dorsey, Brad Ball and Mathew Bernosky; five great-grandchildren, Paige Goedde, Hunter Goedde, Jake Goedde, Nicole Dorsey and Alyssa Dorsey; a sister, Maugerite (Robert) O?Brien of Florida; and two nieces, Claudette (Don) Bosscawen of Florida and Kimberly O?Brien of Arizona. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Carl Tom; her sister, Adrian Chappel; and her brother Adroth Smith.Services will be Saturday at 1:00 PM, at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home, Athens, with Rev. H. Willard Love officiating. Burial will be in ATHENS -emory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5 to 8 PM. Contributions may be made to the ATHENS -hurch of Christ, 785 W.
