CHAUNCEY – Beulah “Boots” Potts, 88, of Chauncey, died Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Kobacker House in Columbus. Born February 24, 1924 in Chauncey, and was the daughter of the late Homer and Violet Fink Shields. She is survived by three children, James (Sharon) Seiber of Platte City, MO, Deborah Ingledue of Lewisville, TX, and Jennifer (Steve) Mender of Amesville; five grandchildren, Jill (Mike) Bean, Gwen (Sam) Vanover, Heather Ingledue, Jackie (Shane) Orcutt, and Jason (Mindy) Russell; eight great grandchildren, Drew (Melissa) White, Allison White, Tyler White, Taylor Orcutt, Olivia Vanover, Devin Orcutt, Morgan Vanover, and Oakley Russell; and one great great grandson, Nolan White. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claire Potts; one granddaughter, Peggi Jo Seiber; one sister, Peggy Stout and one brother, Lewis Shields. Services will be Saturday at 11:00 am at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
